Basically our actual recommendation is NO Brushing before the appointment or on the day of if possible.

Just drink as much as you can.
🚰💦Water keeps your teeth and body hydrated and will help decrease sensitivity.
Some will experience mild sensitivity that only lasts about 1day. If you typically have sensitivity to hot & cold foods, general sensitivity, have compromised enamel, or experience ’zingers’ during your appointment.

For the next 24 hours stick to

✿Avoid all food & beverages except water for the next 2 hours.
🚫•DO NOT- eat or drink any dark or staining foods. ie: Coffee, Tea, Red Wine, Tomato sauce, Soda/Cola, Curry, Salad, Dark Veggies, Soy sauce or red sauces.☕️🫐🍓🥦🍅🫑🥩🍕🍫🍪🥗🥃

🚭• NO SMOKING OR CHEWING TOBACCO for the first 2-5 hours after you finish your whitening.

  • 🛡️✨SHIELD & SHIMMER(S&S) Shield & Shimmer Sealant is now available for purchase!
    • This is an optional product clients can purchase separately to apply after your whitening. S&S seals up the pores on your enamel so you do not have to adhere to the dietary restrictions.
    • APPLICATION We will apply your 1st Shield & Shimmer in-office—Following your whitening and we wait 5min to let it cure under the light—You will take whatever is left home with you to use over the next few days —Before ALL MEALS— After your appointment you will just drink water for the next hour but then you can eat whatever you’d like. Clients will NOT have to abide by the dietary restriction llisted in our Post-Whitening Instructions

  • 💪🏽TRUE MINERALS DESENSATISER
    True-Minerals is a Remineraliser & Desensatiser clients may choose to purchase the day of the whitening.
     • True Minerals for us to apply prior to your treatment. After your appointment, clients will take home the remainder of the tube to use daily afterwards to relieve any discomfort. Can also be used hourly depending on the amount of sensitivity.
    • This amazing product provides desensitising & remineralising the day of your appointment for anyone who has sensitive teeth or any discomfort from the whitening process.
    • Some clients will experience sensitivity during your treatment and decide to go ahead and buy it afterwards to take home. In these cases, we can apply immediately after the whitening—while the pores are still open—and then give to you to take home & use over the next 24 hours until discomfort is gone.
    • True Minerals also contains 72 Trace Minerals that begin to slowly add essential minerals back into the enamel. Ultimately strengthening and bringing back your body’s natural strength and balance.
    💊Clients can also choose to take a mild pain reliever but we recommend pairing these to alleviate symptoms or sensitive teeth.

  • 🪄🦷ON-THE-GO WHITENING PEN
    • Silver pen that you can put in your pocket or purse, use this Pen immediately after eating staining foods like Spaghetti Sauce, drinking coffee, red wine, smoking, or anything that can leave surface stains. Get those stains off before they have time to stick to your teeth.

  • 🗣️🪞HOME-MAINTENANCE KIT
    (Where available) Some of our service providers offer Home Maintenance-Kits. Considered a “Tray Whitening” comes with mouldable mouth trays, Carbamide whitening gel (tube of gel), & a small Blue-Light that fits conveniently over the mouth tray. Similar to a mouth guard for sports or braces. Doing a 20-30 minute touch-up with the HOME-KIT will keep your results fresh and shiny! Tray-whitenings do not replace coming in for your professional in-office ‘Touch-up’s’ Recommendation is every 6-months to 1year.

🌿 DaVinci product offers enamel strengthening qualities. It is organic, plant and mineral based, & contains
NO ANIMAL by-products.
Active ingredient is Food-Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. 🩺🥼To maintain healthy teeth & gums it is recommended that you visit your dentist on a regular basis. Maintenance products are not to replace in-office professional teeth whitening services. Aftercare products enhance your results following your appointment as well make the process more comfortable, convenient, & help the results last longer.
DaVinci products are completely safe on the enamel and dental work. Using True-Minerals strengthens the existing enamel you currently have & some recent studies have shown this may be the way to repair compromised enamel. About 30-40 minutes into your whitening, the pores of the enamel temporarily open up. This is the only way to reach the ‘Dentin’ layer of your teeth. This is the reason 1st time clients are recommended to do the full 60-minute treatment. If you only do 20 or 40 minutes you will miss out on the absolute BEST results we get when staying under the light for the full recommended time. Once you’ve completed your 60min session
clients will have to stay away from dark or staining foods for 24hours.

• DaVinci products will remove stains from existing dental work but will not whiten them beyond their original color.
• White spots may appear more prevalent directly after whitening, but the contrast will lessen within 24 hours.
• Everyone's teeth respond differently and have their own natural "stop" point for whitening results.
• Teeth may feel temporary sensitivity; sensitivity is typically minor and gone within 24 hours. You may choose to purchase a desensitizing treatment with your whitening.
